ABOUT ME

Just turned 28, Ive had quite a late start to my travelling dream due to various 'excuses' but no more. I love the idea of living day to day with people of different cultures, ideas and community values; the long term idea is to travel properly and not just for a vacation. I am interested in so many different things but how I want to learn is not from a text book so here I am, looking to travel and explore the world and its people.

PHILOSOPHY

Currently I live life waiting for the next adventure, I dont feel I can go and grab it just yet because of family committments although it doesnt stop there being some smaller in between adventures which is what I am looking for now. My feeling is there is no point in life if you are not going to live it to the full; this differs from each person but my living to the full is all about the breath taking experiences, the travel and the people. Experiencing life how you want to experience it is what it is all about and figuring out how you want to do that is all part of the journey.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I hope to be able to open my home at some point to people from around the world. I may, if a request is sent to me, be able to offer a stop over of 1 night but at the moment I dont have room for long term stays.

Interests

I love...
Music, every kind which is the best kind in my mind. Art expressed in many ways free for me to interpret in any way I want to interpret it. Nature (although Im a bit of a wimp when it comes to insects) I love to just sit and watch, admiring the space and peace; scenery that takes my breath away. I love dancing although am not very good at it, maybe one day! Singing, although not an open singer, I am quite good at singing and I blow the roof off my house and rock around in my car everyday.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Skydive; now this was amazing and one of the best feelings I have ever had. Some people dont like the thought of falling to the earth but for me, the best bit was the free fall. Your whole innocence comes back to you and it felt like I had received the best gift of all; its hard to descripe the feeling, I just know it was an amazing feeling.
