CURRENT MISSION

I'll be starting work as a receptionist (9am-6pm) near Kings Cross station on October 7th, so am looking for a sofa/floor (or multiple ones) to stay on for a week until my flat becomes available.

ABOUT ME

Friendly girl with a "yes" attitude, bit of a goth, tend to get on with everyone. I try to be helpful and friendly to everyone I meet. A little kindness goes a long way, and I try to show my appreciation with everything I receive. I can't wait to meet you!

PHILOSOPHY

I'm a logical person; I see emotions as chemical reactions in the brain, and that in itself fascinates me. People think I can be a little robotic, but deep down I am very empathetic and I try to see things from multiple perspectives.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm currently in my hometown staying with a couple of good friends who have just had a baby. I sleep on the living room floor on a mattress, and am eternally grateful to my friends for putting me up for the last two months.

Interests

I play ukulele, have a pet snake (sadly, won't be bringing him), love cats, like cooking, am interested in geek culture, and enjoy a good film with a glass (or three!) of wine.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like superhero films, films with interesting cinematography, stand up comedy (laughter is the best medicine), books written in the first person, and industrial and acoustic music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Lying on the beach when I once felt pretty down and being soothed by the sound of the sea. People didn't make that, it's just there. That's amazing.

Teach, Learn, Share

I play a little ukulele and can play by ear. I am a decent cook and am good at making vegan/special diet alternatives to favourite foods. I am interested in picking up yoga again after practicing occasionally with a uni housemate.
