ABOUT ME

What is there to say? I am one of those who can be interested in anything and excels probably at nothing. My interests range from languages (I didn`t put Russian and Chinese in the profile but I actually had some of it in school) over European and international Relations to photography and making amateur films. When I find the time, I read. Or play the piano. Or teach myself the Ukulele. Recently I discovered that physical excercise can be fun as well - who`d have thought that - in addition to university sports courses I got dragged to climbing. I`m in no way ambitious but I`m having fun.

What else is there to say? I think of myself as someone who gets along at new places and with new people, but who on this platform doesn`t?

PHILOSOPHY

There`s not really something like a personal philosophy. I believe in constant change. I am nowhere near a set in stone life yet.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Currently I'm traveling around a lot. I don't have a Couch in Berlin, but occasionally and with a mattress I could help you out.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I went to the Couchsurfing-Meeting in Brussels once, being new in Brussels, this was an excellent opportunity to get together with interesting people from all over the world and making new friends quickly.

After that, I couch-surfed in Antwerp, Copenhagen and Oslo. It's always been interesting and we always had a lot to talk about.

oh I thought my interests belonged in the section "all about me". Well then, let`s see if I can think of some more. I enjoy cooking in company, i.e. I`m not so much of a fan of preparing meals for my own but if it`s for someone else I like to put effort into it. Same for baking, I`d hardly do it unless it`s a vegan friend`s birthday and we`re in need of a chocolate cake - yum.

As I mentioned I just love taking photographs and I invested in a Canon EOS 550D to also be able to capture my view of the world in Full HD movies. I`m still an amateur but I enjoy it a lot.

I am also reading always at least three books at once - which explains why I need a little more time for that.

This is probably just a fragment of what interests me and what I do to pass my time, but I would like to add that obviously, alcohol is a good friend I like to hang out with at night, at bars or clubs or festivals.
