About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Retire no later then 25 and travel the world indefinitly as just the citizen of earth that i am!!

ABOUT ME

I am so psyched, this has been my life dream to just travel and travel forever. I enjoy culture so very much and appreciate all these beautiful ways of expressing ourselves. I wanna see it all, I wanna meet you all, I wanna do it all! There's no way I'm stickin around and playing the boring bills, mortgages, dental, car, bigbrother, job game that leaves you working hard for a system that doesn't care and end up finding myself much older and unhappy with all my wasted time. There are way too many interesting, fun and exciting places to see and people and peoples to meet and learn from! I'm going to make friends all over the world and maybe someday I'll find just the right spot to stop moving. Until then, this planet won't stop spinning and neither will I! ^_^ xoxo - Lisa

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I just signed up! yae noobie! I wish I had known about this 6 months ago when i had an apartment with a friend and an extra room!! Now I'm staying with a different friend and have no couch of my own to offer :( I am always here to take any travelers out for some so cal fun though!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I started my CouchSurfing experiences when I was 17, and even the not so good ones are still appreciated for all that I saw and felt and learnt. Living alternatively lets you look at life differently then mainstream propaganda and keeps you from getting stuck in a rut. I change my life up every 3 to 6 months. New town, new people, new jobs, not as a rule it just tends to end up like that. I believe very strongly in going with the flow of the universe and I let it decide as much as I am able to give up control. ;P Hopefully you guys understand. I'm not lazy, I'm not a vagabond, or a mooch. I love working hard, and applying myself and have fun testing and challenging myself, I have made so many wonderful human connections that we'll be friends forever even if we don't often see each other anymore as life moves us in different directions.

I can't stand being a burden, I want to give to my loved ones not take away! (almost too much because I'll feel guilty so you MUST let be repay you however I can!) The truth is, there are so many variables in life and so many ways to live it, I just don't like America's version. I don't have the American dream.. (gasp!) I have my own dream. I dream of the oceans and what's across and under and filling them!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Saved a life with mouth to mouth and CPR. That was pretty intense. Feeling their heart start up under my hands. Wow. On the opposite spectrum I guess I'd have to include seeing someone die with this topic. Absolutely amazes you the depth you feel in that infinite moment. I'm still trying to understand it. Sometimes you think you get it but then you have a new experience and you have to reevaluate your beliefs and then you're quite unsure again. Since I brought it up ;) I just want to feel alive as much as possible. Those infinite moments are the only time I feel fully PRESENT, fully ALIVE! Sometimes that's a late night dance concert dizzy with beats and movement, sometimes a quiet hilltop with the stars, sometimes facing your fears, facing your tears. I just know I find this feeling of LIFE most when I am changing with the changing world. I know I can't find that in the corporate world, hence the dream to lose it for good =D WOOHOO!!
