People are more important than things. Next comes the environment including animals. What goes around comes around. Living each day with all its beauty and charm keeps me in awe and balanced.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first experience was when I travelled in Ireland with my daughter and had nothing but positive experiences. At home, I hosted people until my spare room became occupied.

Then I was in the States and was once again overwhelmed by the friendliness of my host.

Interests

My interests are music, nature, good food, good company and a good laugh or three.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music - world music especially live and a good ballad. Yet anything that gets my hips shaking and feet stomping is good.

Movies - movies that bring out laughter, tears and warm fuzzy feelings about the goodness of humankind. The Blind Side, Freedom Writers, Mama Mia, Ps, I Love You, Pride and Prejudice

Books - Kite Runner, Pride and Prejudice, The Other Hand, all Marian Keyes and David Eddings

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Cross - country skied in a race 30 kilometers after the age of 50. Ice-skated on a huge lake laced with snow crystals. Soaked in hot springs while watching a smoking volcano in Guatemala.

Teach, Learn, Share

I know from experience how though a little might be good, too much isn't. The Swedish idea of balance "lagom" suits me well.
Having had an organic farm, good quality food is something we can both share and learn more about.
