Curious about everything and everyone, I'm interested in sharing life stories and skills. I'm a woodworker, former youth worker, and I write fiction and poetry for fun.
I love nature adventures, though they can be forgotten in a big city with so much to do. I know of some great scenic spots that are busing or biking distance from downtown and I'm a big believer in soaking in the sights close to home and not taking them for granted. These are things I'd be happy to introduce to others as a host.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've had some amazing experiences while traveling or meeting travelers, in cafes, through friends, where I've been offered a place to stay or offered up my place. A former couchsurfer once became my roommate.
I don't have a lot of experience through the website, living in Montreal has meant that my couch is often occupied with friends of friends and when I travel in Canada, I usually have a connection here and there. I'm interested in seeing what connections can happen through the site too.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love live music and I'm not too picky with genre, more with quality. There are so many amazing venues and shows in Montreal that I could introduce to couchsurfers and I love seeing shows in other places and getting to know a place through its music and the people who come out to listen. Folk punk has a dear and nostalgic place in my heart.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Saw the volcano erupting in Iceland.
