ABOUT ME

I love traveling and volunteering all at the same time! I am actively involved with Habitat for Humanity on my campus and I love the warm fuzzy feeling of volunteering my time to help build homes for families.

I have two jobs, office assistant and waitress, and I go to school full time studying accounting. I am a 4th year student at MSUM planning on graduating in Dec. 2012.

PHILOSOPHY

I want to go to bed each night knowing I did something good in the world. Even just walking down the street and smiling at strangers or even saying hello to them makes me feel good. HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love knowing that there are people in the world who are generous, friendly, kind and who are willing to let people they never met sleep on their couch for free. I can't wait to give good references to the people who let me use their couch.

I would also like to open up my couch to people who might need one in the Fargo, ND and Moorhead, MN area. I currently live in an apartment by myself and have plently of space to share. I do have two cats who also live here, but they're nice.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I recently just joined the CS community, so I don't have any experiences yet with CS, but I'm exicited to make some.

I am grateful for the families that let me into their home while traveling and getting stuck in snowstorms. I would like to help out like those families helped me. Now, that I found out about CS I honestly can't wait to couch surf or even host.

Interessen

I love traveling and learning about different cultures in the world.
I like volunteering with Habitat for Humanity (HFH). I am actually the treausurer of my college's HFH chapter. I enjoy spending my spring breaks volunteering with HFH through their Collegiate Challenge in different parts of the US. I have gone to New Jersey, Arizona, and Florida through HFH's Collegiate Challenge. This year I'm planning on going to Washington.

I watched a mother cry with tears of happiness, when she learned my group was spending our spring break volunteering our time to help in the process of building her family's new home.
