ABOUT ME

Marc and Lee Lynn Have been married for 23 years and lived mostly in the Pacific Northwest. We've always been able to live in the most scenic places and always worked in amazing places, mostly as camp rangers, in state parks, as water system managers, and in the ski industry. We have two children that are all grown up, which makes it the perfect time to take up new interests and start meeting new interesting people.

PHILOSOPHY

Marc has his own uncategorizable philosophy that involves people doing their own thing and why would anyone even try to have a philosophy, what's the point of one? Lee Lynn likes to champion a mix of local economy type notions and personal responsibility, mixed with a bit of Buddhist thoughts, frosted with fluffy love and peace on earth.

We hope to participate as both surfers and hosts.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Mostly we've hung out on relatives couches, but have hosted several exchange students, rented out our rooms on a seasonal basis, and started wondering more and more, what good is an empty unused room?

Interests

Marc loves jeeping, beer, metal fabrication, alternative energy, building design, hunting, and hanging out on warm beaches. Lee Lynn loves yoga, ice hockey, baking, playing board games and puzzles, local history, farming, and lots of other random things. Both of us snowboard, and we've recently started to learn qigung.

Music, Movies, and Books

Marc likes action movies with lots of chase scenes, and anything by Maynard or similar alternative metal type music. Lee Lynn has a piano which she plays seldom and not particularly well, but prefers the spoken word to music if she can get it especially books on tape which she would listen to endlessly if the CD player in her car actually worked well. She reads mostly non-fiction and occasionally poetry.

We both know lots about water system management and facility maintenance. Marc can help you make a potato gun or figure out how to do just about anything to your jeep. Lee Lynn can show you the local farming/market scene, and is very good at creating newsletters.
