ABOUT ME

I am an artist and a scientist, but above all I love to learn.

PHILOSOPHY

I love. Everything I see in nature, in people, is amazing and I rejoice in the good all around us. Compassion and peace are my daily goals. I spent years being halfway broken... so I am trying to heal myself by smiles. Sometimes I feel very old, and sometimes I feel very young.
Nature is very important to me... I have watched the animals survive and interact and die, held newborn fawns and found the carcass of their great-grandmother; hated the predators and then forgave them when I saw their pups.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I just joined, and hope to surf as well as host (once I am out of this bunkhouse and back at school)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None so far! I have crashed on the couches of several people, but never through this site.

Interests

Outdoor activities- hiking, skiing, running, anything! I like to bake and cook, drink beer, act silly. I also act mature sometimes.

Music, Movies, and Books

My friends affectionately call me a dork! I like movies that are not scary, and books that are not Twilight. I rarely find music that I can't enjoy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My dog just jumped up and caught a fly in midair... until I think of something more astounding, this will be my "amazing thing done/seen" :)
