ABOUT ME

We are Arian and Loes, a couple from the Netherlands. Arian is a 25 year old PhD student. So yes, working hard. Loes is 23 year old, who is currently at home without a job. We have been together for 2 years now, and have been living together for 1 year. We love to travel! Last summer we took our first big trip together, Arian driving the motorcycle and Loes on the back! We drove 3000 km in two weeks and saw a lot of Europe. It was amazing! In november we went to visit San Francisco, Los Angeles, Las Vegas & Death Valley. Since we can't do enough travelling we'll be visiting Canada en the US in two weeks as well!

We love watching movies, listening to music, cooking (and offcourse eating!), reading, spending time with our friends. Arian loves to work out and spend time working on his motor cycle. Loes loves photography and, what else, shopping.

We both come from big families and think family, and definetly also friends, are very important. We spend a lot of time with people from all over the world, whom Arian meets in university. It never gets boring meeting new people!

Right now we're trying to find some great hosts in Seattle and Vancouver. This will be our first Couch Surfing experience, so please be nice. ;-) After this we will probably try to open up our own home and have people sleep on our soo comfy couch.

Interests

We love travelling! We have been places, but there's still so much to explore. Getting to know new cultures and meet new people is the thing we love the most.

Music, Movies, and Books

Our three loves! We watch a ton of movies, and Arian is always trying to improve our 'Home Cinema'. We have a pretty good sound system by now, something our neighbours don't love as much as we do. :-)

We are both listening to music all the time. Arian is always listening to music while working in his office. And when at home, there's always something playing in the background.

We both really like reading as well. Arian is more into the CJ Sansom books, while Loes is reading 'The Hunger Games' triology right now.
