I've got some odd hobbies that go hand-in-hand with travel. Mainly an action figure collector with a focus on Star Wars toys. My second big interest is sirens. Not those little Firetruck ones. The big outdoor warning units for Tornadoes and Air Raids. Different towns have different siren systems, so they'd be cool to tour and discover.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Born and raised outside of Chicago and never felt much of a calling toward a lifestyle. Staying at home is a bore but I have enjoyed family trips out of State. I would love to see the Northern States of the USA and eventually make my way through Canada. Just starting out my journey. I know there are good people out there who understand the wish to move about. I've been told this is where to find them.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once helped a guy who dropped his phone over a bridge and into a creek. He went down a literal slippery slope and fell, bringing a chain link fence down with him, which then made him unable to get back up on his own. I pushed the fence out of the way so he could climb to safety.

Don't hold your phone over bridges across bodies of water, friends. That's day one, bro.
