About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Be generous. Put others needs above your own.
ABOUT ME
I am a life-long learner who finds joy in listening to the stories of others and notices beauty in the small, simple things. I don't need much to be happy, for I have a natural joy in God that is my strength.
PHILOSOPHY
"We can do no great things, just small things with great love. It is not how much you do, but how much love you put into doing it."
-Mother Teresa
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I love how the CS project creates a way for people to exchange life stories, cultures, and recipes-not just for food but for wisdom!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I am a rookie to the couch surfing community and very excited to meet others and offer hospitality to whomever I may serve.
Interests
The outdoors is my best friend: hiking, canoeing, camping, backpacking, and taking long swims in the ocean. If a tree looks climbable, i'm going to climb it! I am an athlete who is always up for a friendly match of any sport to promote exercise and laughter with friends! I love learning new recipes and reading a good book on a blanket in the park.
I hope to one day serve and teach English as a second language or teach in an inner city school.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have been blessed to be able to see many places in our beautiful world. I have found the most amazement during a moment shared in a small village outside the city of Masaka. Sitting in the most peaceful building made of mud and straws, villagers so generously fed me a meal with meat, potatoes, matoke, and vegetables that was above and beyond what they could afford to feed their community for the next weeks to come. They would not take no for an answer. We beautifully shared a meal together, eating with our hands and singing songs of praise.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach: How to find joy in simplicity and giving.
Share: Love to share laughs.
