ABOUT ME

I consider life an adventure. I have been fortunate to experience many diverse lifestyles: from living in the bush without power in BC, to travelling the Southern Caribbean on a sailboat.
Now, I focus on mentoring my teenage sons into adulthood and fortifying my education.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I offer a couch in my home, or a mattress in a rustic, non-electric cabin.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Although I am new to CouchSurfing, my travels as a young woman paralleled the experience. I always found people willing to reach out, to share their home and community with me. It is from this positive, life affirming experience that I wish to extend the same hospitality to other travellers.
In addition, my oldest son is on the verge of heading out on his own travelling adventure. I hope that he will have the chance to connect with like minded people in a similar fashion.

Interests

I love nature and the outdoors. Sunny days find me outside cycling, gardening, walking...
Currently, I am studying to be a Pilates instructor.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I am fortunate in that every day seems amazing to me.
Memorable travels include a 5 day hike to Cuidad Perdida (Lost City) in Colombia.
