to travel to my top 10 places and have amazing adventures
i am currently living in the U.k.
I work at the British museum, and am looking to move back into Theatre/film production soon.
i enjoy independent films, anything buy Aranofsky, Lynch and Jarmusch.
i enjoy music and would be up for meeting and going to a gig/concert.
i like to think of myself as an Enid Character from Ghost World, 'avoiding' real life, and socialising with 'weirdos and interesting people'
this seems quite a deep and meaningful Q....well too much for a lazy Sunday afternoon anyway
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
i have just recently discovered CS and eager to learn more about this marvelous community. I enjoy meeting travellers whilst they pass through London.
Had a great few days in visiting Helsinki/Porvoo in 2011, whilst working in Estonia.
Had suspicions about staying with complete strangers, but all my worries were put aside when i had the warmest of welcomes and the best time. I stayed with strangers, but left with friends.
going to the Cinema/theatre, seeing live music
going to art galleries
cooking, i make great cakes (or so i have been told) i love to make american cupcakes
shopping-what girl doesnt like to shop, mainly in Vinyl or charity/vintage shops.
getting lost-when im bored/lost for things to do, i like to get on a train or bus and get off and just go walking, discover new places i have never been before,
often taking one of my lomo/polaroid cameras with me.
Music, Movies, and Books
music-anything from the 80's, psychobilly/rockabilly, post punk and post rock, some jazz, blues, film music

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
wow this is a question and a half, what is defined as amazing?
i guess ive been lucky to have met some lovely people, been to some great places, and to have my health.
theres still alot more time to add to the list...
Teach, Learn, Share
erm im not exactly sure what to say here, but i guess from a new outsider from CS i would have to say, everyones different, good or bad, each person is a new exeperience, something to learn from...but dont take the Mickey. CS is here to bring people together, not apart.....learn from new cultures and lifes, that you dont get in a hotel.
