About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Well, I'm surfing to find a new place to live (not your living room couch, don't worry!); I would like to meet locals and new friends.

ABOUT ME

Why hello there, my name is Brett. The caption says, "all about you," but who is the you but a mere point of view? and I've forgotten what I knew in regard to me, but I'll run through a few things, for you, that are true: I recently lived in Nepal, where I was volunteering teaching English on a Tibetan monastery. I like Chuck Taylor All-Stars; only the original blacks for me though. This stool is comfortable to sit on. I like lemon tea, oh, and butter tea as well. The word "okay" is an interesting word, it's no wonder why we say it all the time. I am 24 years aged, though I've been around for aeons, I think. I've finished my undergraduate studies and am now looking for a new place to live. Okay.

PHILOSOPHY

Don't take it seriously, you can't be hurt in a dream!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Trekking to remote northeastern Nepal with a local friend to see his family, we rested at the top of a noiseless hill where Tibetan Buddhist air burials take place, and I got to breathe in the pure air while staring at the Himalayas and listening to the snap of the prayer flags, and there was nothing to do but to clap and laugh and feel the wind pass through.

Teach, Learn, Share

Hhmmmm. No special skill or great talent. No wild guru's wisdom. No special attainments. We can talk about how to write haiku, or about Mala prayer beads or something. Oh, or if you're attending a university/college, and you're writing a paper, I can help you with the editing and revision process! :)
