About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To meet people who speak French, practice with them, meet people who think the world exists outside of America's borders. (wHAT?!?!)

ABOUT ME

I'm 27 years old. I graduated college back in 2006 and joined the workforce as a project manager at a software company, but it was totally not my passion at all. I quit after a year and a half and applied to teach English in France, which ended up being not only the most amazing experience in my life, but also opened up my eyes to life outside my own borders, and now I am thirsty for more. I'm trying to find a way to get back to France in the next year or so and live there for several years.

PHILOSOPHY

I guess I have two life philosophies. The first is a quote - "There is no wealth like knowledge, no poverty like ignorance." I feel that I should always be learning, always be expanding myself, whether that is study in a book or a casual conversation with someone over a glass of wine to learn about who they are and where they come from. I think the world is too big to feel as though we know everything, so meeting people from around the world always offers me insight on life.
My second personal philosophy is "Let life happen." I think that one is pretty self explanatory. Stop worrying and just go.

Passion for this world, for languages, for cultures.

I'm also an avid fan of oldschool X-Men comic books and the TV show. I can discuss LOST theories until I die. I sing and play guitar, and love to sing and share my gift with others and listen to them sing or play as well.
