ABOUT ME

Hi,

I'm originally from west-flanders, but I live in Antwerp now! I've also lived in Brussels and Gent, so I can give you nice adresses for those cities too!

I have a master in visual arts. I currently also got my degree as a social-cultural worker. So if you want then I can give you lots of information on interesting expositions and cultural events.

in 2006-2007 I lived 11 months in Bangkok (Thailand). This was through AFS, with an exchange program. I know how it is to be submerged in a culture that was not my own. during this period I lived with a thai family who taught me a lot about respect in Thai culture & about buddhism. So you can understand that I have a weakness for travelling in the Asian Continent. I also can't have enough of Thai food!
2 years ago I also travelled to Nepal, Cambodia & Laos.

Currently I am working in an Mediteranian shop called Oil&vinegar and subscribing myself for a visual arts starting from september.

HOW I PARTICIPATE

I live in an apartment with another friend.
I have an airmatrass for 2 people and a matrass . Maximum 3-4 people will be able to stay with us.you will sleep in a private room.

Me and my roommate both have very big sleeping rooms, 1 bathroom, 1 living room,1 kitchen. There is a park nearby.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I already welcomed a few canadian people into my previous house. they were all incredible friendly & I hope one day to visit their homewtown Sasketoon.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I did the Langtang trekking in Nepal! Wonderfull Local people I met on the way.
I also was able to witness a traditional sherpa wedding on my way back! What a day that was!!!

I can give some tips and tricks for people who want to go travelling in Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, Nepal & some European Countries.

Please, if you ever travelled already with a trekking bike ... Give me some info :). i really want to do a big biketrip.
