CURRENT MISSION

ABOUT ME

Why I'm on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I guess i participate by participating ;)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

i remember visiting a friend in glasgow 2008 who was just being hosted there by a couchsufer.
Instantly created an account back then because I found the idea quite good but never got to use it though. This is the second attempt now, and now it seems like I'm finally about to get sucked in ;)

Interests

lets seee....
beer, good food, music, football, snooker, more beer, discussions on politics, life, language, history and whatever pops up, getting to know locals wherever im going, waking up the first morning in a city i have never been before and just going out exploring, trainrides, hiking... oh, and did i mention i like beer? ;)

One Amazing Thing I've Done

Standing on the Mount of Olives and having a view over the old city of Jerusalem and some of the most sacred places of the three big religions from the same spot.
While I'm not a religious person I visited the city on two occasions. The clash of religions and cultures can be felt there everywhere.
I found it scary there, but very impressing and intense at the same time. I could never life there, but it was an amazing experience.

Apart of that? Hmmm, yeah, some Skydiving and Hanggliding in New Zealand, I guess that was intense enough for the comfortzone-seeking lazyass I tend to be too much :D

Countries I've Visited

Australia, Austria, France, Israel, Italy, Jordan, New Zealand, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, United States

Countries I've Lived In

Germany, Norway
