ABOUT ME

Product of Greek immigrants who learned the concept of hard work and perseverance while working in my parents' pizzeria.

Broke the mold of what's expected of a Greek male [to open a pizzeria] by attending college and studying abroad (Semester at Sea and Madrid).

Currently live in South Texas. I taught 7th grade Reading in Roma, Texas, which is the closest bordertown on the US-Mexico border.

I now work with teachers, whose work and dedication to their students I truly admire.

PHILOSOPHY

Anything is possible as long as there's a desire.

I couchsurfed before throughout the wonderful state of Texas and am excited to the idea of showing someone around South Texas.

Movies: enjoy the independent/foreign films more than Hollywood blockbuster; also, I'm a sucker for those chick flicks

Music: I enjoy foreing music; a little Britney is ok. What can I say, I have a soft heart for hot messes!

Books: I'm starting to appreciate nonfiction more. I enjoy Hispanic/Latino literature.

Algo increíble que he hecho

Traveled the world on a ship for a few months; getting to meet Fidel Castro.

Also, the art in Spain took my breath away.

Lastly, nothing as historically erotic as traveling through Greece.

I can teach people how to dance Greek folk dances and cook Greek meals.

I'd love to learn how to ski, hold a tune.
