I am a 21 years old girl just coming home from a year in Paris where I studied french and worked. This semester I started studying psychology in Uppsala instead:).
I really like travelling, to see new places and meet new people, and I try to do it as much as I can and is able to afford. I always wanted to learn french, and I really want to keep on learning it even now when I'm in Sweden.
I think everyone is living to be happy, so I try to do the best I can to do things that makes me happy:)
A friend of mine told me a quote that I think is really good: "the only things you will ever regret in life are the things you never did"
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have surfed only a few times so far, in Belgium, Luxembourg and France, which have been great experiences. Unfortunatly I have not had the possibility to host anyone so far as I don't have place, but I really hope to do it in the future when I have place!
I like lots of things... travelling, reading, painting, go out with friends, jogging, going to the cinema and conserts, travelling and learn new things.
Music, Movies, and Books
I am crazy about the movie "Amelie from Montmartre", it's a french movie that I could recommend to everyone! I guess I mostly like drama/comedy movies, for exemple the swedish movie "Så som i himmelen" and the film "Science of sleep" and "Motorcycle diaries".
I also very much enjoy reading, and I just recently read some book by Anna Gavalda that I really love.
My music is quite a big mix, but I actually listen a lot to swedish singers, like the Ark, Detektivbyrån, Moto Boy and Ceasars. But I also like international bands, like the Beatles, Beirut and Fleet Foxes. And of course the soundtracks to nice movies! Like the soundtrack of "Ensemble c'est tout" and "Juno".
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I think the most amazing thing I ever did was last winter when i worked as a volonteer in India. I worked with children in a small village, and it was really great. It was a wonderful experience being able to see alot of things, being able to travel around in India and hopefully make a little difference.
Teach, Learn, Share
Well... What could I teach you..? I did gymnastics for some years, so I know how to do hand-stands and things like that.
And for things I would like to learn, well, there is a lot. I would like to learn to sail, snowbording, step-dance, make bagles, dive...
