I am a college student going into English Secondary Education. I have been involved in so many different activities such as: football, track, choir, theater, show choir, coaching speech, and educating children. Being able to have experience a variety of communities made me realize how sheltered I am. I only know the suburban communities. The only other community I know is the one I have in the Philippines.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am not a very well traveled person and that needs to change. I think to become a better person I need to open up to different culture see more of the world. I love people and the power of just connecting with others is something I hold close to my heart.

Music, Movies, and Books

I can listen to any kind of music as long as it appeals to me. My favorite books/movies are the ones that can bring me into their world, have me connect emotionally with characters, and open up my mind to something new. The series that I love to re-read for pleasure are Harry Potter, Percy Jackson, and LOTR.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was able to perform on a Friday night on the Carnegie Hall stage for critiques and an audience of strangers and family.
