I grew up in England with a French mother and English Father. We always travelled a lot between France and England, and I have now moved to Freiburg, to enjoy studying cheaply, the warm climate and the many festivals and opportunities for musicians. I play in a duo with my boyfriend (often on medieval markets and pirate festivals), and we travel quite a lot in Germany, but also in Sweden.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Since my band (folk Duo "Saitenstreich") travels a lot, it's important to us to be flexible finding places to stay. So far we have travelled between Switzerland and North Sweden, and in the summer we often do a busking tour with open destination. This summer we will be doing "medeltidsveckan" on Gotland before travelling down south Sweden back towards Freiburg, possibly passing through Berlin on the way. Me and boyfriend always enjoy meeting new people, being spontaneous, giving random concerts by campfires and spending time busking in new places.
This summer would be our first time couch surfing, so far we always camped wild (Sweden) or happened to meet friendly people wherever we went =)

Teach, Learn, Share

Since I can speak fluent French, German and English I would be happy to help if you want to practice or learn any of those languages.
Me and boyfriend always travel with instruments, so a bit of jamming is always something we look forward to. A button accordion, violin or guitar lesson would also be a possibility.
