So I'm Louise, I'm 22, I grew up in Paris. I love my city but I love even more that feeling of discovering a place for the first time.
I study Arabic and international relations at university in England. But I had to escape after a while, I went to Lebanon for a gap year, which was actually a great experience. Beirut is an incredible city to get know and i fell in love with the culture, how open and warm everybody is, the big table full of food to share, i love it so much!

I am on couchsurfing to meet people, sharing stories and ideas and get the key to unlock the places I visit.
I am just as comfortable seating around the table, having conversations as I am out at night partying.

Right now I am travelling in Italy with my boyfriend and would love to be hosted by people who can help me explore the country!

Music, Movies, and Books

I like music a lot but it's hard to reduce it to one genre. At the moment I really like to listen to Mac Demarco, Nicolas Jaar. I am sure if you're interested I can show you some nice stuff.

I grew up in quite film fanatic family, from Chaplin to modern french films.
I like Xavier Dolan, the Cohen brothers, Jacques Demy, Wes Anderson, Ken Loach

I dont have a favourite author but I read randomly. some books I love and would enjoy talking about are The Unbearable Lightness of Being, The Prophet by Gibran, Les Desorientes by Amin Maalouf.
