About Me

To live a happy and fulfilling life. To be open to new ideas, to be adventurous, and to stop be afraid.

I love my job teaching English at University, it's a great way to find out how young Taiwanese people think and feel about the world. Teaching at a uni means I have long summer and winter breaks which I use to travel. Japan so far this summer..Mongolia at the end of the month. I like to listen to the stories that people tell about their lives and experiences, I also like to share my experiences.

Don't be judgemental, let people be who they are. Always look for the best in people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I was introduced to CS by a woman I met in Kyoto Japan. I live in Taipei and have a spare room. I thought that this would be a great way to meet people and also help people out while they are traveling in Taiwan. People have been really good to me and extremely generous throughout by travels, now I'd like to return the favor.

None as yet.

I like going out clubbing.I love books and movies. And of course I love traveling.

Teach, Learn, Share

I've lived in Taiwan for 10 years. I can speak Mandarin fairly well. I have a good understanding of both Taiwanese traditional and popular culture. Taiwan is a fascinating country, we don't get as many tourists as other Asain countries, which is a great shame as our hot springs, traditional tea houses and beautiful landscape should not be missed.
