About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To absorb as much culture as possible, and learn about other people's perspectives, dreams and aspirations in lands that are foreign to me.

ABOUT ME

About me...? People say I am funny, good company, very accepting and insightful. I say that I am silly, love social situations and I know when I am wrong!
I guess I'm still defining who I am, and I am really looking forward to travelling alone. I like a good contentious debate although I am mild mannered, I could also spend all day shooting the breeze and discussing the intricacies of a parallel universe ;)

PHILOSOPHY

My main lessons I have learnt, to date are as follows!: We are the only ones responsible for ourselves; resentment and blame are baggage that are too heavy to carry in this short life; to err is human, to forgive is divine; timing is everything.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm crazy over old black and white movies, especially 'Brief encounter'. Fave writers are Gabriel Garcia Marquez & Andrey Kurkov. I'm really eclectic in my musical tastes; I am drawn to world music especially african music, brazilian and a bit of french music. I love the arts although I am far from pompus and pretentious, I just enjoy learning :)
