About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Find my true self again after having misplaced it along the way...
ABOUT ME
I am 34-years old, Brazilian, divorced. I was born and grew up in São Paulo, and love the city despite it being crowded, dirty, poluted, and expensive (I know, I should perhaps recheck this unconditional love, but...). I have been fortunate enough to get paid to travel a lot, and for professional reasons I have been to many different places in Latin America and Europe. I lived in Munich, Germany, between 2003 and 2006 and it was a life-changing experience. I like rock n'roll, beer, vodka, traveling, eating good food, meeting new people, hiking, rafting, and generally having a good time. I am also a unapologetic nerd who loves sci-fi, fantasy, epic movies, and who knows a lot about the history, geography, and culture of places that doesn't exist (of course, I know a bit of those things about places that DO exist, too)!
PHILOSOPHY
Life is the most precious thing you have, because in fact is the ONLY thing you have. Live it with the enjoyment, respect, and integrity it deserves. Most important, do all that and also live long. When you die, you are just food for the worms.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am just beginning, but I would be glad host people at my home, meet people that are just passing by SP, and so on. Generally speaking, I want to participate in CS by helping people getting a good time!

Music, Movies, and Books
Oh, God, where do I begin? The list is way, way too long...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have been fortunate to live in an age when many amazing things happened or are happening. How to start? I still remember the amazement I felt when I saw the Berlin Wall falling on TV. I was 13 years old. This was when I realized the world was larger, more complex, and more amazing than I ever imagined. I have been amazed by it since then...
Teach, Learn, Share
For professional reasons, I know a lot about finance and accounting. Most people find it boring (and sometimes it is!), but I like it and enjoy teaching about it (and the theories behind it). I am also a self-taught student of political science, philosophy, and theology. Besides that, my nerd rating is over the top, so it means I know a bit about things that probably don't even have a name...
