About Me

Hello there! Allow me to introduce myself – I'm a passionate art critic, a seasoned tour guide, a hiking enthusiast, and a humanities teacher, all rolled into one. My life is a colorful blend of creativity and exploration, and I can't wait to share a bit about myself with you.

First and foremost, I'm an art enthusiast. I find beauty and meaning in the strokes of a brush and the intricacies of sculpture. Whether it's a classic masterpiece or a contemporary piece of art, I'm always eager to delve into the world of aesthetics and share my insights.

As a tour guide, I have the privilege of introducing people to fascinating places and stories. I'm like your personal compass to the wonders of Sardinia, and I love connecting with travelers from all corners of the globe. If you join one of my tours, expect an adventure filled with history, culture, and captivating anecdotes. And for my guests my tours are free... ahah.

Away from my professional pursuits, I'm a lover of poetry, good friendship, and a well-crafted cocktail or a glass of wine. I cherish moments spent with friends, and I'm always eager to meet new people, no matter where they come from, their uses and way of life...

Travel is a true passion of mine, and I've been fortunate to explore many corners of the world. Along the way, I've penned a few books to capture the essence of my journeys and experiences. I've also dabbled in drone piloting, adding an exciting dimension to my adventures. I also have experience like a host but not with this platform at the moment.

As a mindfulness facilitator, I find solace in the practice of mindfulness and meditation. It helps me stay grounded in the midst of life's whirlwind, and I'm always eager to share this invaluable tool with others.

Back at home, I share my space with two feline friends who add a touch of whimsy to my life. My apartment is a sanctuary filled with warm lighting and soothing music – a place where I often dream of learning to play the piano.

In essence, I'm a curious soul who relishes the joy of learning. I embrace both lighthearted fun and meaningful conversations. So, whether we're discussing the latest art exhibit or sharing stories over a drink, you'll find that I'm always up for a good time. Oh, I'ma also a little bit nerd... ahah

Thank you for taking the time to get to know me a little better. I look forward to the adventures and connections that lie ahead!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I wish to be on Couchsurfing to connect with new people and offer them the opportunity to discover Sardinia, my beloved homeland, to which I am deeply attached. I also hope to be a guest in their countries and foster the creation of beautiful and lasting friendships.

Interests

I like to walk into the woods discovering waterfalls and quietly places. I'm a little bit "crazy" sometimes, cause I love dancing under the rain or do a bath at the sea at midnight. 😝 I love boardgames and rolegames. I'm a nerd. 🤓 I love to travel and discovering new cultures, meet friends from other countries and talk about ideas and way to live. I respect all the opinions if there is respect from the others.
A write, expecially poems, and I'm composing hip-hop songs. 😎

Music, Movies, and Books

My love for Baudelaire, "The Lord of the Rings," and fantasy in general, as well as classic Italian literature, especially Dante and poets like D'Annunzio, Leopardi, and Foscolo, is a reflection of my diverse literary tastes.

Baudelaire's poetic works, with their dark and introspective themes, have always resonated with me. His exploration of beauty, decadence, and the human condition is both haunting and thought-provoking.

On the other hand, "The Lord of the Rings" and the broader fantasy genre have been a source of wonder and escapism for me. Tolkien's richly crafted world, filled with mythical creatures and epic quests, ignited my imagination and allowed me to explore new realms beyond the ordinary.

In Italian literature, Dante's "Divine Comedy" stands as a monumental masterpiece, delving into themes of morality, redemption, and the afterlife. His vivid imagery and profound allegory continue to captivate readers across generations.

The Italian poets you mentioned, such as D'Annunzio, Leopardi, and Foscolo, each brought their unique voice to the literary landscape. D'Annunzio's sensuous and lyrical style, Leopardi's melancholic reflections on existence, and Foscolo's passionate patriotism all contribute to the rich tapestry of Italian literature.

In essence, my love for these authors and literary genres represents my appreciation for the diversity of human imagination and the endless possibilities that literature offers for exploring the human experience.

My favourite movie is Breaveheart and I love to listen punk rock music of '90. But alla kind of music ar good for me. Actually I'm trying to compose an emotional hip-hop album.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Oh, that's a think to talk about in presence....

What I Can Share with Hosts

As a host, I can offer an apartment with a sofa bed in a separate room from mine (the living room). The apartment has two bathrooms, one designated for guests' use. I provide warmth, good wine, laughter, and, if I'm not working, I'm happy to serve as a tour guide for free. I can also offer rides when possible, hospitality, and a clean environment. Additionally, I'm skilled in cooking.

I particularly enjoy hosting sociable guests who also respect my schedule and relish the company while getting to know Sardinia.

I am free and open minded, without problems with people who have different ideas from mine.
