About Me

I'm a full-time student of Spanish and Linguistics at Portland State University, where I also work as a Spanish tutor. Language is my biggest passion in life, learning/teaching/translating/etc., and I eventually want to become a professor. I love to hike, take photos, cook, play guitar, go dancing, and sing karaoke (badly) whenever I have free time...which is rare.

Originally, I'm from a super small town in central Florida in which there are more cows than humans. I moved as far away as I could when I turned 18 and landed in Southern Oregon. After spending a year in beautiful Ashland, I moved up to Portland for school. I've lived here for the past 10 years and still absolutely love exploring this city, especially in the summer and fall.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Traveling on a student-sized budget can be pretty tricky.

Looking to meet friendly folks and find a low key place to stay from time to time.
