About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Explore Havana and see the underground culture happening in Cuba!

ABOUT ME

Hello to the CS community!

I'm French, 24, working in foreign affairs so as you can guest I really like travelling! I did an Erasmus Exchange in Romania for one year, it was awesome and went in Romania, Turkey, Poland, Hungary (Budapest is something big!), Austria, Germany, Denmark... And 2 years ago I did another exchange in Buenos Aires where I could travel as well in Chile and Bolivia. And after a wonderful time interning in Brazilian capital, Brasilia I'm now living in Cuba!.So you can see I'm a traveller :)

Beyond that I'm a really curious person about new places, people, cultures, societies, languages, musics so I'm always willing to go off the tracks to see different things and to really dive in the local environment and way of being!
On the other hand when I know something about a place, a country I like to share it with the people around and when I'm in my hometown (Bordeaux) and see some desperate tourists I always try to help them, because I've been on the other side too !!

PHILOSOPHY

life is a constant departure!
Differences are the roots of all knowledge
And always have a critical thinking about anything, news, informations that come to you.

Interests

Learning, discussing ideas and opinions about everything : Architecture, music, physics, finance, dance, politics, which country has the best beers etc... (It's Belgium by the way :D )

Modern Art, Street Art and Culture is also something I really appreciate (Berlin & Valparaiso were fantastic for that)
Languages : I like learning and speaking foreign languages
Sports : Swimming, body-board volley-ball... I'm more a "sea" guy :P
And for sure Beers and partying !!

Music, Movies & Books

I'm a Bass Player and really can't live without listening, playing or singing music! I first played in a metal band, then a reggae one, now I play more funk, rock kind of music.

I like good music (meaning something that doesn't sound like premade marketed commercial pseudo R'n'B) So I listen to everything From Gilberto Gil or Miles Davies to Metallica, Rage against the Machine with some Red Hot Chili Peppers (Flea is the reason why I play bass), Jamiroquai, James Brown or Cypress Hill in the middle. And I forgot Electro like Daft Punk, Justice, Birdy Nam Nam, Noisia... which is quite good live !

One Amazing Thing I've Done

Going In Istanbul for one week on the Orient-Express with Italian, Polish, Spanish, French, Japanese people and spending the best week of my life there meeting cool Turkish, Australian, Iranian people playing guitar and drinking tea :D

Watching the sunset on lake Titicaca's Isla del Sol with absolutely no noise around, like time had stopped and with the Andean snowy mountains on the horizon line, a beer and a travelling buddy!

Countries I've Visited

Austria, Belgium, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Croatia, Denmark, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Moldova, Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Spain, Thailand, Turkey, United Kingdom

Countries I've Lived In

Argentina, Brazil, Cuba, France, Romania
