About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To document the world and meet people along the way

ABOUT ME

In 2006, after completing an Honours degree in English Literature, I began traveling and documenting social, environmental and humanitarian issues throughout Africa and Asia. In 2009 I relocated permanently to Asia so I could focus on my passion for creating social change through photography.

My work often focuses on developing countries where he attempts to move beyond the surface of events to expose the human aspects of a story. I look for dignity and hope rather than dispair and desperation wherever possible.

My work has been featured in both print and online media in North America and Asia, and my NGO partners include Same World Same Chance, The International House of Sharing, and the Korean Kids and Orphanage Outreach Mission.

Also a writer, I combine the written word with my images to create a more complete story. My articles are typically companion pieces to visual stories and have been effective in in helping raise awareness of social issues across a variety of media.

My projects are not solely focused on mainstream news, and I often documents local eccentricities and the moments that make cultures unique.

PHILOSOPHY

Hope beats fear every time.
