To make the most of everything
I was born in Campana (a small city near Buenos Aires). After 15 years I moved on to BA, where I finished high school and started Law School. I took 2 sabatics years from my studies to travel but afterwards I resumed and became a family and domestic violence lawyer.
I have my own project in Argentina of free legal advice for people who suffer from domestic violence and can't afford legal fees. (You can check it on www.facebook.com/defavif).
I also dance tango and brazilien samba... And I must say that tango became something reaaaally important and beautiful in my life :)
- CARPE DIEM -
I was brought up by a beautiful family, but a traditional and conservative one..
I've never thought about travelling or meeting people this way, but some years ago I found out that world is really huge and we don´t have an eternity to discover it, so we have to start now, doing what we can, when we can..
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Showing my city to foreing people. Following the posts and adding info that could help other couchsurfers with the same plans. Going to meetings organized by these groups.
My first VERY NICE experience was in a province of the North of Argentina with another couchsurfer where a really cool guy hosted us! In B.A. I used to go to parties and bars with other CSfers and we organized some meetings to share information.
Last year I travelled around Europe surfing several couchs in every city I've been and it was fabulous!!! Meeting a lot of people from different parts of the world, organizing activities (drinks, coffe, walks) if there where no posts for that they, going to different places / different companies, every small thing changed my trip, It wouldn´t be so great without all the couchsurfers I've met and I will be meet!
Gualeguaychu carnival in the summer.
Designing and sewing clothes
Music, Movies, and Books
I listen different music styles.. Tango first of all.. but I also listen from Manu Chao, Bob Marley and Amadou et Mariam to argentinian national rock music.. I enjoy very much dancing and listening percussion.
Favourite books: La gesta del marrano, Marcos Aguinis. First they killed my father (And Lucky Child) and Marching Powder.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Teach, Learn, Share
Well.. I'm not a professional dancer but I can share it with people who like to dance. Brazilien samba and tango of course!
I can teach to make clothes, bags and accesories with just a piece of material, a needle and a thread!
Think twice before throwing out something old or broken, because could be a new thing with a small change.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Showing the best of Buenos Aires when I'm there and around!
Tango life, milongas and classes.
Cycling all over the city (It's not Amsterdam ;) but it's really nice to discover BA with a bike)
