Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Currently I am traveling to many cities in Europe that I have never been to before. While I can read about cool things on the internet I would much rather have a personal experience, with locals to give good advice about what to do in their area.

Interests

I play the guitar, a little accordion and piano as well. I love picking up a new instrument and seeing what I can do with it. I'm very interested in learning more about farming and sustainable living.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all kinds of music, especially punk, folk, and metal. I really like Jim Jarmusch films (especially Down by Law and Night On Earth) and I am a very avid reader. I love Latin American literature, my favorite authors are Isabelle Allende and Gabriel Garcia Marquez.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

During my first travel in Europe, I met my boyfriend Nico on the street in Barcelona. Since then everything has been amazing! We have traveled a lot throughout France and Spain (one of my favorites being Port Bou) and everyday we learn a lot from each other, especially language (he is French, I am American)

Teach, Learn, Share

I am pretty fluent in Spanish, and I'm currently learning French. I am always looking for an opportunity to strengthen both. I'm happy to cook and learn more about cooking from others! As well as music of course.
