About Me

Hello, I'm Lucy! I'm a 21-year-old recent English Literature grad from the University of Bristol. I am currently taking a month out in the US/Cuba before going back to Bristol to work in event production. I'm here to meet like minded people around the world and learn from each other.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing because I want to meet people in the places that I visit (and vice versa, once I have a proper place of my own!). I love meeting new people and exploring new places, and believe in the importance of community.

I'm especially interested in sustainability in cities, and am really keen to meet people leading community/environment focused lifestyles in other cities around the world.

Interests

I love to be outdoors: especially hiking, running, swimming, rock climbing. I also love to create things: I make scrapbooks, mainly, but also paint, draw, make dreamcatchers, macrame etc. I have recently started running workshops for a mental health support group. I like to read (hence the degree) as well as watching films and listening to music. I'm also interested in food growing, and have worked on crofts in northern Scotland. I've also run events for an urban farm in Bristol for the past year. Unsurprisingly, I love to cook (and eat!) too.
