Join Couchsurfing to see Lucy’s full profile. It’s free!
I'm a junior doctor from Surrey, currently living in Sierra Leone working for the WHO and King's Sierra Leone Partnership to try and improve surgical services for one of the world's poorest and least developed countries. When I'm in the UK, I live with my husband and my 1 year old, very friendly, cat in a little wooden cottage in the suburbs.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
We have made some friends through having lodgers and love the community spirit it incites. Not a fan of faceless large chain hotels etc.

Music, Movies, and Books
Love to watch films and listen to music of all kinds! My favourite film is Untouchable, a french film about an unlikely friendship.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Life is full of too many spectacular things to pick one! Sky diving, underground blackwater rafting, yoga in a chimpanzee sanctuary on top of a mountain, volunteering with refugees in greece, volunteering in a leprosy hospital in India....
Teach, Learn, Share
I have level 2 BSL and would be happy to teach/learn more! I am happy to share my baking, vegan baking can be a little hit and miss and I have tried out several recipes!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm all for sharing whatever I can!
