According to many of my foreign friends, I'm a great city guide! I can say I know Querétaro's culture and history very well as I was born and raised here. I know a lot about the state too.
I've been interacting with Couchsurfing since summer 2016, when I was 17!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on Couchsurfing because I want to discover and learn as much as I can. I consider myself an open minded person. Getting to know people from other countries as well as their culture is always fascinating; it enhances human relationships. I have close friends from many countries and I keep in touch with them.
I believe Couchsurfing is a great way to learn more about the world and not just a money-saving site. Somehow it is, yet you shouldn't see it that way or you won't get the CS experience.
I don't think racism, classism and any form of hate speech is humour or freedom of speech. Please don't spread those.
Interests
I like politics, arts, reading, writing, coffee, listening to podcasts and staying informed. I volunteer at the Red Cross.
I love going to the cinematheque, plays and museums.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like pretty much all musical genres. My Spotify playlists are constantly being updated. I'm a fan of Lorde and Taylor Swift, hehe.
I don't really have a favourite movie but I can say I've watched a lot of them over my life and I totally love Netflix. As I said above, I love going to the cinematheque to watch indie films.
Regarding books, I just love them! Latin American writers are amazing, by the way.
If you want to know the basics of Mexican history, read "A New Compact History of Mexico" (Nueva historia mínima de México) by Pablo Escalante: it's an amazing book, edited by El Colegio de México, a prestigious institute in Latin America that teaches and researches social sciences.
If you want to know about Mexican thought and how Mexicans see each other, themselves in the world, death, parties, Mexicans abroad, etc., read "The Labyrinth of Solitude" (El laberinto de la soledad) by Octavio Paz, who was awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature.
Teach, Learn, Share
-I'll talk to you about Mexican history and politics. I'll give you songs to listen to, book and film recommendations.
I promise we'll have a good time together!
-I can also teach you some bad words, haha.
-I want to improve my French!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm willing to make sure Couchsurfing becomes a cool experience for everyone, regardless of their religion, skin color, nationality, sexual orientation, etc! Gay and LGBT+ friendly!
I'm a thankful person, my family taught me to always say thank you or show gratitude and I expect surfers to do the same.
