Hey my name is Lukas and I live and study in Berlin. When I was 16 I moved from the south of Germany (Schwenningen) to the capital city where I attended a sports school and played Beach Volleyball in the youth national team for 3 years. After finishing highschool I worked as an au-pair in Australia for 6 months and took care of three boys. I really enjoyed the time overseas and decided to spent six more months travelling (east coast, Vietnam) and working in melbourne.
Back in Germany I started studying at Humboldt University in 2017 and right now I am really looking forward to be an exchange student at UCSB for the fall semester 2019!
As my housing contract only starts at the 22nd of september I am searching for lovely people to host me for a couple of nights. I am very keen on exploring this country and to get to know locals and to see what life is like in California.
