Overview
About Me
Hello, I am Lukas. I just finished my masters in Aerospace Engineering and started travelling for several month. I really enjoy meeting new people and talking to them about their experiences and culture. I love to do outdoor sports, i.e. bouldering and hiking. At home I love to cook whereas this is another reason why I love to travel.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
During my last travel in Korea I met a lot of inspiring people, Marco and Julia in particular, who encouraged me to try Couchsurfing! I always enjoyed talking to locals during my travels and I believe Couchsurfing will be the ultimate chance to learn more about and from locals while also bringing them a part of my unique southern german culture! And well here I am!
Interests
I often try to go hiking at least once every two weeks or try to incorporate it during my travels. As for cooking I really love to take my time and enjoy a delicious meal after. Experimenting with herbs and spices is very exciting for me.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love to read science fiction books and literally consumed a lot of Perry Rhodan like nothing as a kid. Today I try to read as much as possible.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One of the best experiences so far has been during my semester abroad in Japan. There I climbed the Mt. Fuji after getting up at 2 am. It was the most impressive sunrise of my life.
What I Can Share with Hosts
As I mentioned above I really love to cook. So I would like to share some original southern German food with my host!
