ABOUT ME

I'm Lukas, an open minded person from the North of Germany. Many people say folks from the north are a bit aloof but I think these guys are totally wrong :D If you start a friendship here it will likely turn into a real and proper friendship without dissimulation.

However! Probably I have two personalities. One of them is well organized, established and well-thought-out. The other one is the exact opposite! So form your opinion and decide which one carries more weight:

I love to sail jolly-boats, I like chocolate and cakes with a good cappuccino or a great tea, I go swimming in the Baltic Sea all year long, I prefer to be barefoot during summer, I like to meet new people during hitchhiking and couchsurfing, I would like to live in a Tiny House one day (and I dream about it will be located close to the sea or a lake), I support local gastronomy, I frequently help out on a sheep farm in Ireland, I studied something with digital media and tourism, I still like motorsports, I like road trips, I enjoy evenings in front of a campfire. Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first couchsurfing experience was in Dublin in November 2013. Then I surfed quite a lot in Canada, the United States and Europe.

I also had a bunch of surfers staying with me in Hamburg, Köln and Lübeck :D

Hiking to Pedra da Gávea in Rio (Brazil)
Hitchhiking on Vancouver Island (Canada)
Having beautiful never ending beaches for my own (Denmark)
Spending a nice bonfire evening with my brother on a cliff close to Gdynia (Poland)
Eating many different kinds of fancy ice cream in my favorite ice cream store in Hamburg (Germany) ...and the world-beating chocolate cake in Lisbon *___* (Portugal)
A great - no, probably the best! - ostrich steak dinner in an atmosphere surrounded by a piano playing "the lion king" in the semi desert of Oudtshoorn (South Africa)
Spotted the hugest falling star I've ever seen in Carparthian Mountains (Ukraine)
Hitchhiking to Russia and kayaking in Lake Ladoga (Karelia)
Spotting Aurora Borealis / norhern lights in Abisko (Swedish Lapland)
and last but not least having an amazing time in Ireland
