Enjoy the life and become PhD (maybe)
Well... Firstly, hard working man sometimes, but obviously knowing the role of chillin' in the life, trying to find balance, can be lazy on holidays, can be serious when there is need to be like that, can drink sometimes with right people to do so. Love having job demanding wearing suit every day. Cannot imagine life without daily newspapers, pub or party or cinema or whatever during weekend. Views rather liberal. Like discovering little similarities and differences between cultures.
Tomorrow can be better and hopefully it will be, but who knows, let's have good time here and now.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Hosting (maybe not significant number unfortunately), surfing (quite good experience), CS meetings (knowing where are good ones)
Meeting CS members in India, Southeast Asia, Mexico, Middle East, hopefully this year (2016) also in China :)
Travels and all the rest. Vibrant cities, small towns, villages, museums, pub crawls, books, movies, calmness, craziness, temples, universities, animals, hangovers, newspapers, politics, sheesha...
- pub crawls
Music, Movies, and Books
Music: classics from 60's, 70's and 80's. Don't like hip hop and Polish disco, no idea which one is worse.
Movies: Slumdog Millionaire, Forrest Gump, Schindler's List Good Bye Lenin, Waltz with Bashir, Letters from Iwo Jima, Persepolis, Argo and at least one hundred more :) (that's just a sample)
Books: Stephen King, Stieg Larsson, George Orwell, Philip Roth, Salman Rushdie, Orhan Pamuk, Ken Follett, J.K. Rowling, Witold Gombrowicz, political fiction, reportages
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hard to choose one, so I'll mention few: crazy rickshaw trips in India (with 6 other passengers), feeding crocodiles in Vietnam, visiting the church in Chamula (Mexico) for taking part in the mysterious ritual, working in Mumbai, studying in Delhi, swimming in Dead Sea, raid in Wadi Rum desert
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm not going to cook for you or learn how to cook, in this field I'm sooo bad, it's better for the society to keep me away from the kitchen. Rest is to discuss, if I know sth I'd be happy to share my knowledge and experience :)
