I love the outdoors, and I actively hike, rock climb, and backpack. I play guitar and ukelele, although my talent really shines at karaoke night. Eating and cooking are some of my favorite things to do, and I'm currently working on my bread baking skills. Most of my time is spent out and about, but I also take the time to relax every once in a while.

I've met some amazing people while couchsurfing, and the community aspect is inspiring. It's always a great way to learn more about different lifestyles and backgrounds, and I find it helps me expand my worldview in the same way as traveling does!

So much music. My favorite bands are constantly changing, but right now I'm listening to a lot of Dirty Projectors, the Shins, Fleet Foxes, Margot and the Nuclear So and So's, Kendrick Lamar, First Aid Kit, Dr. Dog, and I'm always on the lookout for new music.

My favorite authors are Kurt Vonnegut, Terry Pratchett, and Iain M. Banks.
