ABOUT ME

I have a very laid back personality, I get along with most people and find it easy to go with flow. I am at my happiest when I am in nature, doing something active. I have had the opportunity to travel a few places in the world on vacation but my first big move was to Vancouver a few years ago. I fell in love with the mountains and the ocean, and active lifestyle that surrounded the city. I moved to Sydney a couple of months ago, and travelled up the east coast and back down again on a road trip. I have been having amazing experiences in Australia so far and am looking forward to many more! I am always looking for tips and advice on great places to check out, feel free to message me if you have some for me.

PHILOSOPHY

I like to give everyone the benefit of the doubt and try not to pass judgement on to people that I do not know. I am on the road to discovering why I live my life, and for now I am enjoying the journey. I think it is important that we learn to slow our lives down and enjoy what is right in front of us.

I am looking to meet other like minded travellers or locals to share some great experience with.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't had the opportunity to stay on someone's couch yet, but I hosted a few people back in Vancouver. I hosted 2 German guys, who I became good friends with and shared many fun times. It was so great to connect with complete strangers,hear about their experiences, and learn from them as well.

I enjoy many types of music, but a few of my favourites are Sublime, Rolling Stones, Black Keys, Santana, Daft Punk, Deadmau5, Flogging Molly, Dropkick Murphys to name a few.
The best movie of all time is Gladiator.
I am into a few different TV shows, Breaking Bad, Dexter, Sons of Anarchy, Game Of Thrones(the books are better though) Californication

I am currently working my way through the Game Of Thrones books.

One amazing experience that sticks out in my mind, probably because it is still fresh. A couple of weeks ago I was Scuba Diving off of Byron Bay at a place called Julian Rock. This dive was spectacular, we saw a few Wabbegongs(bottom feeding shark) many large schools of fish, a turtle, but the most amazing thing was seeing a school of about 75 rays swim right above me, it darkened the water around me like a storm cloud, but they swam so gracefully by. Super cool!

I am pretty handy in the kitchen and know how to whip up a few great meals, if the opportunity presents itself I would be more than happy to share my knowledge and skills of cooking.

I am currently attempting to surf, and am always open for tips or instruction :)
