Not just live but enjoy life. I have started a new life in Spain, widening the distance to my previous life in Finland, and I feel so good and calm now! My current mission is to learn as much about people and phenomenons as I can and develop myself as a person.
OBS/HUOM./NOTICE: My mission in CS is NOT to host, or to be hosted by, people who mainly want to find sex partners. I do want to know you but not jump into bed with you after the first chat. In case you are using CS as a dating site **only**, skip my profile, don't host me and/or don't send couch requests to me. We are both better off that way. Thank you!
OBS. vol 2: Please, send a Couch request with the approximated dates if you want to stay in my place. I will reply only to the messages that are accompanied with a Couch request. You don't need to be 100% sure about the arrival and departure times in order to send a request. :)
I love to talk straight and have deep discussions while queuing up for food in the student cafeteria. I respect honesty. I don't drink alcohol but I'm usually the first one on the dance floor and often the last one to leave that floor. So what you can get out of my company is, hmm, talk and dance. And cakes.
I spend my time writing and volunteering, leading groups like international work camps, training and doing activism related to animal and human rights. Academic hippie, you could call me. :) I do like to talk politics and to start intensive projects: in the last two years I've initiated and coordinated two festivals in Turku: in 2013 a week-long festival dedicated to human rights in Russia and in 2014 the first Turku Pride. Now I'd like to do something connected to well-being and active self-help. Or just do yoga and sports every day and forget about everything else - I guess that'd be the best option.
Live and let others live. DANCE.

Voluntary work. Talking. You choose the topic, preferably a smart one and more or less connected to politics, human behavior, cultural phenomenons, psyche and better world. Or whatever interests you, I can usually keep up with the conversation, or then just listen and learn.
Dancing. Baking small gifts to good people. Walking for hours.
Music, Movies, and Books
It's very hard for me to describe the kind of culture that I like since I can find an idea and something beautiful in every genre. Culture, music etc mirror people's inner movements or how they find their place, past and present in the world. And much more. It's fascinating to spend time with people that listen or do something I have never before done or listened.
Silence is, however, the best music in this over-technologized world. In silence, the brain starts to sing just the songs that somehow reflect what and how you are in that moment.
Unfortunately I watch moves very rarely, I prefer books. But for example American History X and the Life of David Gale are movies that had a huge impact on me.
Books: Classics + A Thousand Splendid Suns, Princess (about a Saudi princess and the life behind the curtains and hijra), Cunt, Äiti Venäjän aakkoset (=the Alphabet of Mother Russia, best Finnish introductory book to Russian culture/habits etc), I remember that at junior high school age I read a book titled Rauhaa! (Peace!), it was about Palestinian youth, and it also impressed me. I just found a new poet, Veera Antsalo, whose verses reach the point.
Music: indie, some Polish (Mikromusic, Maria Peszek, Republika), Russian (Zemfira), random YouTube mixtures, bachata, Pink, Sting, Kaiser Chiefs, Muse, Johanna Kurkela, Haloo Helsinki!, Happoradio (sorry Finns, that's so emo), Jenni Vartiainen, world music, AFRICAN DRUMS, etc etc trattattaa. Melodic folk metal goes as well, in some situations. Depends a lot on my mood! Listing the bands doesn't really make sense to me because I don't follow them, I follow songs.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Well this isn't just one, this is a list: The sunlight glittering on the snow all around me. Russian countryside. Animals. A baby laughing. Theatre in Saint Petersburg. Touching.
Teach, Learn, Share
Everything that happens, doesn't happen for a reason. Life lacks a meaning, but that's actually what's so cool about life.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can bake for you and teach some basics of Russian language. Or take for a 25 km walk to start the day. Most of all I'd like to learn from you.
