ABOUT ME

As a couple we enjoy Travel, Art, Music, Food, Cooking & Wine. We hope to Learn and Explore the places we visit and gain a further understanding of the traditions and culture.

Dave: I am a full time musician, My main passion is music (coincidently), but i love to experience and explore new places. I'm an active type and like to be social, interact and have good times.

Elyce: Being an Interior Designer i am a very creative soul and enjoy it in any form, i love art, music, design and have found a new love for photography. I have a very open outlook on life and believe that knowledge and experience is the greatest gift you can gain - hence travelling around europe. I would love to share some recipes or hopefully cook with whom ever we end up staying with and hopefully we can both leave learning something new!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We've recently had our first couch surfer from the UK. He funnily enough ended up staying with us for roughly 6months. Although we made a fantastic friend we would more than likely be promotion shorter stays. We had a great experience from this and have definitely got the couch surfing bug!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We are yet to couch surf ourselves but are on our way to europe in about 3 weeks and would love to give it a go and meet some great people!

If we could could give you an idea of our music style by naming 10 bands they would be: The Doors, David Bowie, Nirvana, Band of Skulls, Anything Jack White, Led Zeppelin, Eagles of Death Metal, Foo Fighters, The Police & the Kooks......basically a very eclectic style lol!

Movies: Elyce tends to have a very corny style in my opinion haha! We love: Comedy such as: Mighty Boosh, Little Britain, Monthy Python and some movie we enjoy are: I love you man, Empire Records, The Doors, hangover, Dazed and confused, The Labyrinth, Beetle Juice etc.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Dave: Vietnam was the favourite place i've seen in my lifetime. Halong bay is amazing (sailing through hundreds of scattered islands on a Junk boat and visiting fishing villages were people spend there whole lives).

Elyce: I am yet to travel outside of Australia but i have been lucky enough t have traveled and lived in many parts of my own country. Realising just how beautiful it is in our own back yard has been an amazing experience in its self from, Kakadu experiencing the flood plains with aboriginal culture and crocodiles next to me in the boat, to Perth with their amazing white sandy beaches and dunes, Brisbane, Adelaide, Sydney, Melbourne, driving over the Nullabour!! took 10 days and was quite amazing as well.
