After over 30 years I'm still trying to figure this out... trying to experience as much as possible and balance the "I love being on the road" with the "but I also like having a comfortable home." Trying to figure out where my passion lies and how best to pursue it.
If you keep waiting for "the right time" to do anything you'll let a lot of time pass you by.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
The occasional CS meetup, hosting once every couple months and surfing whenever I travel :)
Well, it all started when my friend and I brought a pinata to a potluck in SF... then I made my way cross country ridesharing with a couple CSers and CSing in each city along the way -- it was a wonderful experience and I was shown some great hospitality along the way.
Oh boy, this could get long... flying trapeze, live music, festivals, rock climbing, traveling, FOOD, entrepreneurship (more social, less tech), scuba, dance and anything new! I'd love to do more skydiving, finally learn to surf and oh yes, drive a motorcycle. Road trips are awesome, especially in the summertime... wintertime sways me towards a cabin at Tahoe... snowboarding during the day, hot tub at night!

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: Haven't really been moved by any movies lately but I remember I used to love movies...
Music: Pretty much anything... love the funky, soulful, blues, reggae, latin, world, jazz, rock, alternative, hip-hop, r&b, country is even growing on me...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I chased a boy across the atlantic. Hey, we all gotta do it at least once in our lifetime! It didn't work out, but I have no regrets!
Teach, Learn, Share
Here's where it becomes evident I'm a commitment phobe... haven't stuck with anything long enough to feel like an expert... closest thing perhaps is climbing and I'm still no expert there but am happy to boulder and sport climb! I love talking to people who are just embarking on their travel adventures and helping them see that it's not scary at all :)
