Hello! I'm Lynn and I was born in Brussels in a bilingual family. As you may be know, there are 3 regions in Belgium: the Flanders, Wallonia and the German speaking region. Well, i'm a mixture of the first two and thereby I speak Dutch and French. I finished my studies in 2014 and since then I worked in a cat bar and in a corporation for author's rights. In september 2015, I'll start a PhD. I love to meet people with other cultures, habits and customs. I think it is important not to remain confined in our own country but on the contrary explore other horizons.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Some of my friends are on Couchsurfing and I heard a lot of positive comments about their experiences. How lovely and interesting it is to meet natives. I think that the best way to know a country, is to meet the people who are living there and discover how they live their life there and exchange impressions. With travel books, you don't have the opportunity to meet people and to built friendships true the world. It's funnier than reading book about a country.

Interests

I'm very interested in the performing arts and I love to go theatershows. Going out for a coffee or beer . Running, laughing, take a walk into the wood, going to a park to admire the beauty of the nature
I adore cooking. When I was a little girl, I was always playing in my grandmothers' kitchen. She was a very good coock and she has shared many of her receipts with me. My father is a good cook too, I think it is in my DNA. I'd love to prepare you a Belgian supper.
