ABOUT ME

Lots of interesting life experiences--good stories to tell. Quirky sense of humor. Mostly Type B. Honest and open. Good conversationalist. Responsible and clean living. Easy to open up to--I'm low drama, not into superficial stuff,and people say they feel comfortable with me. One friend describes me as cat-like for my independence and seemingly infinite ability to keep myself entertained. But I also love to talk and form lasting, meaningful connections with people. Many friends have said that I'm a good listener and excellent at maintaining relationships. I'm hopelessly addicted to coffee, chocolate, and communication.

Interests

Talking, laughing, reading, writing, listening to music, dancing (badly), exploring new cities, meeting new people and hearing their stories, Spanish, the internet, taking pictures (again, often badly), learning, watching documentaries, playing cards and board games.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I just went to San Francisco for the first time...3 days alone, no map, no plan. I walked 40 to 50 miles, took a zillion photos, challenged myself in many ways, and it was INCREDIBLE!

I turned 30 in the Ecuadorean Andes this spring, despite a million phobias that should have kept this from happening.

I just survived my first year of grad school, and I still haven't quite talked myself into dropping out. That's probably the most amazing thing on this list....
