HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At this moment i'm very busy and so is my family (my husbund and a daughter).
But I'm agreable to host, as soon as I'm a little more free. I also would like to help people who comes to my place to help them know around and meet people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have known couchSurfing by a niece, and now a friend invited me to join CS. I don't have yet any couchsurfing experience, but I'm looking forward to. I hope in June I'll be able to have my first experience

Music, Movies, and Books

I reed on a dayly basis The new york times and Le courrier internationale.
I just read Martha Nussbaum and I'm fascinated with her "Not for profit. why democracy needs humanities".
For movies, I still like some of the old classics: Lawrence of Arabia, which made me want to learn more about the real Thomas Eduard Lawrence, the arabe culture at its most brilliant piriod, by the 9th and 10th century, when Cordoba in Spain, an Arabe city by then, had street lights when London or Paris were still,very obscure places.
I also like "Casablanca", "Paris Texas", "Il Gattopardo", and a lot of more recent films like "A million dolars baby", "Big fish", "Mandela", I could go on and on...
I like Jazz a lot and Mozart, Loreena McKennitt, Leonard Cohen, Diana Krall, Debussy, and so many others. I enjoy music.

Teach, Learn, Share

If I could teach anything it would be how similar we all are in our fears as in our hopes and how fraile we are.
Beside that I could teach some litterature (french and portuguese)some history.
I also can cook...
