Learning, meeting people, getting the most out of life
I'm an open and friendly person. I like the company of others a lot, but I can also enjoy my time when I'm on my own.
I enjoy dancing, drinking and going out but just chilling with a few people is also fine for me. I think every person is nice and interesting in his or her own way, so I'll always do my best to be interested and respectful and really get in touch with people.
Ubuntu! I read a book about it recently and found it very inspirational. The African concept of Ubuntu focuses on one's interconnectedness with other people. Being human means having a connection with other human beings. It really inspires me and I think it is a good philosphy to bear in mind. Western individualism is a good thing most of the time, but thinking about Ubuntu really helps now and then.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I don't have any Couchsurf experience so far, but I've heard a lot of positive stories about it from so many people. I'm really looking forward to do this.
Some things I really like:
Music, listening, playing and dancing. I enjoy folk and world music a lot, as well as reggae. I play the guitar and like to do the singer-songwriter thing, although I'm still a beginner, kind of.
I have a broad interest in the world, so I like to read newspapers and watch documentaries and stuff, anything that can learn me something about things that are going on in the world. It sounds vague, but I'm interested in politics, economics, culture, whatever :) the world is such a big and interesting thing!
Coffee is becoming a hobby of mine. I'm spending way to much money on buying and trying out the best stuff I can get my hands on, really like it. Beer and wine are also major interests for me, I enjoy it and like to find the good stuff.
Then I like to run, to relax myself, to stay fit and for excercise. I also like to read a good book now and then.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Witnessing the euphoric explosion of happiness when Ghana beat USA in a football match during the 2010 World Cup. I was lucky to be in Ghana at the time, to see people go crazy, drumming, dancing, singing, waving flags and running around.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you a thing or two about playing the guitar.
I can teach you some balfolk-dancing. It is a kind of new and modern style in folkdance. I'll teach you the basics and take you to a balfolk-party with live music, friendly people and a lot of dancing!
I'm interested in learning anything that has to do with music or dancing, or any other thing that you like.
