Exploring Australia and its people, waves, animals and nature.
Surfing, snowboarding, running, drinking red wine (not in large amounts!), eating dark chocolate (in large amounts), being active, listening to music, going to concerts, watching movies, dancing, playing the ukulele, not eating meat, being surrounded by people.
It's a cliché but: do everything you want to do in life NOW, because it can be over before you know it. Keep learning stuff. Put yourself in challenging situations. Be kind.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
None. I hope to be pleasantly surprised. Correction: I KNOW I'm gonna be pleasantly surprised (But, is it still called a 'surprise' then?). Hmmm, you get the message I guess.
Wake up early, go surfing, have a big, healthy breakfast, go surfing again, drink a nice, foamy cappuccino, watch a movie, have dinner with all my friends and listen to music afterwards, while drinking coffee again, have a glass of expensive red wine, contemplate life, go dancing (not: go go dancing). That would be my idea of the perfect day.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like almost all music (Lee 'Scratch' Perry, Miles Davis, Radiohead, Antony & the Johnsons, Jaques Brel, Leonard Cohen, Prince, Pink Floyd, but also a lot of electronic and hiphop stuff... in other words: too much to mention).
I love movies by Wes Anderson. To be honest, I like most movies. I don't like Steven Seagal and Nicolas Cage movies.
Books, yes please!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Having a three hour surf session in Indonesia, coming out of the water, having the best fruit smoothie and mie goreng ever, and repeat this every day for 4 weeks.
Seeing Radiohead perform live at Pinkpop (a Dutch music festival) in 2001, when I was 16 years old. Damn, was I impressed!
