One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was repelling in Utah, I slipped and sliced my head open. After walking two miles back to the car with my head bleeding excessively, l realized I could take get through almost anything life threw at me. The important part is getting out there and trying new things. Plus, it makes for a really good story.

Volunteering in Belize, it was overwhelming how grateful and playful the village children were, even without all the technology and materials that we American children believe they need. It was moving to see such an organic environment to grow up in and made me understand the truly important things in life.
